David J. Grove is the owner and principal behind the Grove Law Office.  He graduated from Concordia University, magna cum laude, with a B.A. in Management and Communications and from the University of Wisconsin Law School Madison, cum laude, in 1994.  He focuses his practice on serving the legal matters for small, closely held, businesses, family farms and intergenerational families.  He has served as a Board member of the Young Lawyers Division and the Law Practice Section after graduating from law school, has served as its Treasurer and its Chair.  He has spoken at various Continuing Legal Education Seminars and at the UW Law School law on practice management topics and the use of technology in maximizing profits in small and solo practices.  Mr. Grove is admitted as a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and both the Eastern and Western Federal Districts in Wisconsin.   He is also is very active in local and charitable causes having served on the Town of Windsor Plan Commission, Village of DeForest Ethics Committee, Past-President of the DeForest Area Rotary and as the Chair and Founding Board member of the DeForest Area Foundation.  Among his other activities, he has also served as a member of Dane County Citizen's Land Use Committee.   As a result of these activities he has been recognized by the DeForest Area Chamber of Commerce in 2001 for his community service and received the 2006 Citizen of the Year award.
